Description
These Chocolate Strawberry Yogurt Clusters are a quick and easy healthy snack made with fresh strawberries, creamy yogurt, and rich chocolate, perfect for satisfying cravings without guilt.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound fresh strawberries, washed and hulled
- 1 cup Greek yogurt, plain or flavored
- ½ cup dark chocolate, chopped or chocolate chips
- 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (optional)
- a pinch of salt
Instructions
- In a double boiler or microwave, melt the dark chocolate until smooth.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt and honey or maple syrup (if using). Mix until well combined.
- Take a strawberry and dip it into the yogurt mixture, ensuring it’s fully coated. Allow any excess yogurt to drip off.
- After coating in yogurt, dip the strawberry into the melted chocolate, covering it partially or fully based on your preference.
- Lay the chocolate-covered strawberries on the prepared baking sheet. Repeat with all strawberries.
- Place the baking sheet in the freezer for at least 1-2 hours, or until the clusters are firm.
- Once frozen, you can enjoy them immediately or store them in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 2 weeks.
Notes
Melt chocolate slowly to prevent it from seizing. If the yogurt is too thick, thin it out with a splash of milk or water.
